Sunshine Skies is viewed by thousands of aviation enthusiasts, airline employees and history buffs around the world every month and relies on material sent in by dozens of contributors. Please share your stories, photos and memorabilia or send a suggestion. Help us preserve the commercial aviation history of the southeastern USA!
I regularly give multimedia presentations around the Atlanta area on the history of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, tracing its development from a race track to the world's busiest airport. Recent engagements include the Delta Flight Museum, the College Park Historical Society and the 125th Anniversary of College Park First United Methodist.
I am also available for interviews to help provide historical perspective for articles about Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and commercial aviation in Georgia and Florida. I have been interviewed by The Atlanta Business Chronicle, USA Today, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia Public Broadcasting, Sidewalk Radio and several "neighborhood" newspapers and local podcasts.
My name is David Henderson and you can email me HERE or use the form below.
Keep in mind, this is a website dedicated to aviation history. Sunshine Skies is NOT an airline, not a travel agency, not a flight school, not a charter company, not a magazine and not an ad agency. No need to send your resumé. I am not affiliated with any airline or airport mentioned on this website. Sunshine Skies is maintained as a hobby, for fun and not for profit. The ads on the site generate just enough to cover hosting and domain expenses. I don't profit from this website and can not offer monetary compensation for contributions. This is all about preserving aviation history and sharing your memories and images with others.
