AIR FLORIDA TIMETABLE GALLERY

These timetables document Air Florida's incredible growth from a Florida intrastate airline with 3 routes in 1972 to a trans-Atlantic international carrier following the passage of Airline Deregulation Act. Many thanks to Don Henchel for sending images of the very first Air Florida timetable and to Arthur Na for providing numerous additional timetables (denoted with an asterisk),
Here is the very first, and arguably the coolest looking Air Florida timetable, effective September 27, 1972. The timetable shows three routes operated with Boeing 707 equipment: Miami - St. Petersburg, Miami - Orlando, and Orlando - St. Petersburg. All flights were $12 (approximately $69 today).
