GOLDEN ISLES AIRLINES
St. Simons, Georgia-based Golden Isles Airlines flew de Havilland Doves on routes between St. Simons / Sea Island and 10 points in Florida. Formed in November 1959, the airline lasted only a few months, operating scheduled services from March 21, 1960 until October 11, 1960. The airline was owned by tobacco heir R.J. Reynolds, Jr. who also served as president.

Here's the interior of the same timetable. Palatka was a radio-stop between Jacksonville and Gainesville. Planes would land only if passengers were waiting. Ironically, Palatka was one of the only cities to meet the airline's passenger quota. Thanks again to Don Henchel for scanning this.
This poster-sized reproduction of a Golden Isles Airlines advertisement was on display at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins, GA when I visited in October 2013.

An incredibly rare Golden Isles Airlines baggage sticker seen on ebay.
